From your pre-session to your custom products, I work hard to deliver a one of a kind experience for my clients! Clients typically invest in a wide variety of art pieces for the home, gifts for family and friends, and fine art keepsakes after their Little Peanut Photography session. The session fee is paid in advance to secure your chosen date. Session fees are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation, but may be transferred to another date if 48 hours' notice is given. Session fees include photographer's time and talent, pre-session editing, portrait preview, order preparation and fulfillment, and custom design work. We'll call or email you to go over the details of your session. we'll keep an eye on the weather forecast and contact you (the day of or day before your session) if we feel the session may need to be moved earlier or later in the day or re-scheduled.
We will then meet for your photography session, have loads of fun and capture wonderful memories for your family to cherish for a lifetime.

Before you leave your session, or within a week, we will contact you to schedule your in-person ordering appointment where you will preview the images, as well as order your prints and products. The appointment generally takes an hour. Once your order is ready we will contact you via phone or email.
Tips to making your session a smashing success
Please feel at ease at your session. If pressured to "smile", natural expressions may be lost. Many of the wonderful images we capture are the "in-between" shoots, when the subject relaxes and smiles. Photo sessions are work for both subject and photographer but we've got tricks that make it fun and easy so don't worry and don't try too hard! Relax, it's your day!

What to wear
Good choices in clothing is one of the key elements of a great photo session! For group sessions, clothing should be coordinated. Clothing should be simple and timeless. Favorites are jeans, button ups/polo shirts, sundresses, sandals and bare feet. (Large, busy prints, checkered patterns and geometrical designs don't photograph well). I'll be checking in with you to chat about clothing choices. It is typically easiest to pick one outfit and then choose colors from that outfit that compliment each other. It's a great idea to plan the outfits at least 2 weeks before the session. Lay them out on a bed, stp back and take a look. Once you're happy with your choices, make sure they are clean and wrinkly-free, then set them aside for your session. Don't forget about shoes and the most overlooked item...the socks! yes, the socks are important...(the color). This will lower your stress level on session day! Clients are encouraged to include their own props. Examples are: A family quilt/heirloom, sports equipment, a favorite book, special toy or a family pet.

How do I reserve a session?
Please email or call our studio. A deposit is required to book your session on our calendar.
Do you offer clothing for sessions?
We have a closet full of gowns for our maternity clients as well as some for our new mamas and some for every day family sessions! We also have a closet full of little girl dresses ranging from sizes 1-12.
Do we have to bring anything for the newborn session?
We have all the newborn clothes and props that we need to capture these gorgeous portraits of your brand new baby. If you want to bring something special in please let us know ahead of time so we can plan and prepare for it!
My baby has acne, do you retouch?
Yes basic skin retouching is included. For extra retouching ( color changes, head swaps, tattoo removal etc.) extra charges may apply.
Do you provide nude photography?
Yes we offer nude maternity photography and discretion is provided.
How long does it take to see my photos?
We will schedule an ordering appointment within a week of your session to view your pictures. (Currently we are offering an evening "in person" online zoom viewing and ordering call where you will view your images and place your order.
How many pictures do I get?
This depends on the collection you purchased. Sessions do not include products or digital files unless you purchased a digital collection.
Do you give RAW images?
No we do not give out RAW images.
Is hair and make up included?
It is not but we have a list of wonderful HMU that we work with and am happy to pass along their information so you can choose who you'd like to work with.
I have pre booked my newborn session, now what? What happens if my baby comes early or late?
We ask that all clients call or email within 24-48 hours of having your baby. Most babies are booked within the first 8-14 days depending on the babys weight. If you know you're going to deliver early we ask that you let us know as soon as you do so we have can adjust and reschedule.
I missed the newborn window and my baby is now 2 months old is it too late?
We photograph babies of all ages. Your baby is no longer a newborn so please keep in mind that your baby will most likely not be able to do the newborn poses and will probably be awake for most of the session. It is never to late to capture your sweet little one!
Do you offer homecoming reunions?
Yes we do. We offer homecoming day as well as optional add on video story to document your day!
Do you offer birth or fresh48 services?
We offer a limited number of birth and fresh48 sessions a year so if you're interested in having us capture your once in a lifetime moments please contact us right away!
Do you offer video and pictures during our session?
Yes! We can create a video story with live footage as well as pictures from your session if you'd like. Videography services must be booked prior to your session date.
